Once again I’m rummaging around through my files on my harddrives (3 of them) and have located a number of items that I believe you will find worthwhile.
I’ll be showing some of them at today’s zoom meeting. That’s the whole plan.
ABOUT SILVER:
I keep getting the question, “is it worth saving silver half dollars for a political emergency?”
The answer is emphatically “no”. If you’ve ever wandered around with a few silver dollars in your pocket, you’ll immediately understand why “no”. The metal is heavy, bulky, and nobody understands the difference between a clad coin and a solid silver coin anymore, if in fact, they ever did.
Goldbacks SAY what they are right on the front. It’s real gold. This, even the dumbest people will understand.
The other thing is, you can carry a ton of value in a slim-Jim wallet, which I can tell you where to get. You hang it over your belt or tuck it into your sock, and it’s invisible to most searches.
Keep it simple, and travel light and easy. Goldbacks are what will get you there, not heavy silver coins that nobody will believe is really silver — and most folks don’t know the difference between solid silver and clad junk metal, and can’t be explained to or reasoned with or eduated, period, end of sentence.
