UFO Whistleblower?

Not a whistleblower, just peddling some of my music videos.

Here’s the thinking behind the little Hedra video package that I’m offering today.

Instead of presenting it simply as “30 Hedra Videos for $5,” I find that it helps to give the collection a bit of structure so it feels like a curated set rather than just a folder of files, but actually that’s exactly what it is — a folder of files.

The collection is called Gorby’s Hedra Video Collection – Volume 1, and it contains thirty downloadable MP4 shorts.

Inside the collection the videos naturally fall into a few kinds of experiences. Some of them could be thought of as Strange Encounters, unusual and surreal visual moments. Others are more like Meditation Moments, quiet reflective pieces that are good for a short pause during the day. There are also Cosmic Oddities, strange or science-fiction feeling visuals, and a group of Unexpected Moments, clips that are funny, mysterious, or simply surprising.

Even though they arrive as one download, thinking of them as small “chapters” makes the whole thing easier to explore and enjoy.

Another point worth mentioning is the value. Thirty videos for five dollars is roughly the price of a cup of coffee, but instead of one drink you end up with a small library of High Quality visual pieces you can keep and watch whenever you like.

People often ask what they might do with them. They work nicely as short meditation breaks, background visuals while listening to music, inspiration for creative thinking, or simply something interesting to share with friends. Many people also enjoy keeping collections like this as part of their personal media library.

You might have the skills to create a playlist.

This collection is also called Volume 1 intentionally. The idea is that it can become the beginning of a series, with additional themed sets appearing later on.

So the basic idea is very simple: thirty strange and beautiful Hedra shorts gathered together into a single downloadable collection from my personal collection, offered for only five dollars.

Many creators struggle to produce content, but here in my hard drive there is already a very large archive of interesting visual material. Packaging some of it into small themed bundles like this turns the work into a kind of digital curiosity shop that the group can explore and enjoy.

I also offer collections of songs we made as the live band FAXL — those are available on band camp.

These special music videos are only available through email, messaging or at one of our zoom meetings.
