Welcome to Gorby’s Sekrit Vault. It’s here that I’ll post a few items that I would ordinarily not be willing to sell, plus items that would normally be quite expensive, but because they are not for sale for dollars — they are ONLY offered for TRADE for goldbacks — they can be obtained at a very low bargain price, available only to my close friends here on my blog, and in our zoom meetings and, of course, our local nearby friends and households.
The ONLY REASON they are available at all is because they can now be traded for goldbacks. I plan to use the goldbacks to encourage folks to succeed online with a variety of projects. Goldbacks ride on the gold spot price and can be sold or traded or spent.
PLUS — we need to get the artwork out there so it’s not in one single location, and we need to do this fast, before the proverbial shit hits the equally proverbial fan.
The prospect that the goldbacks will someday go up in value is part of the reason that items are priced so ridiculously low. If you bought goldbacks at $6.00 per One Goldback and spent it at a shop that accepts them as cash — many do — you’d get today’s gold value, not just the face value, and that can add up fast over time.
That’s why I can do this. Goldbacks are actually solid gold, and they rise in value as the gold market rises. Right now, the prices are too low, but given the potential for goldbacks, the price is right. Hey, that’d be a great name for a TV gameshow.
So I’ll post some random things here, on this page as an experiment. First come, first serve. If it’s gone, it’s gone.
All items are guaranteed original, and usually pencil signed if it’s an art piece. The only reason I’m agreeing to post them is that we receive goldbacks, which are actual gold in counterfeit-proof certificate form.
How you get Goldbacks at a fair price is simple: contact the makers, Goldback.com — NOT goldbacks.com — it’s a different company! Be extra-careful dialing in to that website!
Their website will refer you to local authorized dealers. Do NOT buy them on eBay. Get them from a reputable dealer!
You want only the 1 Goldback denomination, and they should run anywhere from $6.50 to $7.00 per bill at today’s gold prices. They vary based on the current gold spot, as I said. Well, isn’t that nice? If I were buying today, I would buy the 100 pack of Florida Ones, which gives a bit of discount to the price paid.
Some are more collectible than others. It’s a gamble which ones. I’ll post here a few examples of items that you can ONLY get with goldbacks:
