First of all, you have to be actually AWAKENED and somewhat WILLING to do the work, and clearly, if you’re reading this, you’re ready. I’ll assume so, and give you what I’ve got so far:

IT DOESN’T BLOODY MATTER — the substance of your video is entirely immaterial. You can make a short about ANYTHING and, as long as it’s around 15 seconds long, it will do well.
YOU CAN’T SCREW IT UP — There’s no way to actually bung-up the works. You can’t possibly make a mistake and if you do, it will be counted as a feature, so get your head out of that particular cloud and just do whatever seems like it might be FUN to do and, yes, I did say “fun” — Fun is an ESSENTIAL part of the “Shorts” exercise.
LOOSEN UP — Take it easy on the thinking, and let the EMOTIONAL CENTRUM come up with some whizz-bang doozies for a change.
BE REAL — Look for the positive and find the goodness about it, and DON’T focus on yourself, focus on the SUBJECT.

Who Likes #short #shorts???

The answer is, of course, “We like short-shorts”, to complete the song lyric from the doo-wop days when Dick Clark was King, but much stuff has flowed under the thing since then.

I’ve spent the past few days and nights trying to load around 100 #shorts onto youtube in a number of different channels, notably ejgoldguru, gorebagg, gorby’s shorts — and I’m planning to put a bunch of sci-fi #shorts on galaxyezine when I get the chance.

Some of my #shorts have gotten two thousand views, most get nothing or just a few nibbles, but the night is yet young, and we shall see what happens after a few days of hanging around.

I’m not sure any of them have made the “short shelf” and I really don’t care — it’s enough to know that one or more of you in our work circle will hit the million-mark.

One way to make people aware of the Work is to put them right into it, and one of the best ways to do this is to introduce them to the world of spiritual gaming.

Okay, let’s say that you have in your hands the world’s best, most amazing, astounding, incredible and fantastic video game and that playing this game offers a PORTAL into the spirit world, and you can prove it and you have thousands of testimonials testifying to that fact.

You have in your virtual hands the Perfect Spiritual Video Game. But there’s a problem. The look is retro — that’s not a misteak. We like the retro look of our engine, and we work hard to make it function as well as any modern engine, but to LOOK like an engine that’s about thirty years old. The porch could use some dusting.

All the lessons we learned in miniature railway layouts led to the look we’ve achieved in our video games, and we cherish that look and strive to maintain it in the face of widespread indifference.
