Would You Like to Levitate?

Would you really like to levitate? If you wouldn’t mind levitating, respond by clicking on the “yes” link. If you’d rather wait a few more lifetimes, click on the “no” button below. If you’re undecided, roll the dice.

Were you once a levitating monk? If you were, indicate by clicking the link in the bio and saying “yes”, and if not, click the link and tell me “no”. If you have no idea whatever, just click the link in the bio and dig around for more data.

Are you tired of all this gravity? Want to fly away to someplace warm and safe and Trump-free? Click on the link in my bio to find out more.

Of course, this is my blog, not instagram — there is no link in my bio, and no gram in my insta. It’s all a mockup of what could be, and I think I’ve got a good handle on how to proceed on instagram, at least in the beginning.

As time goes by and experience piles up, we’ll figure out more, but in the meantime, here’s my boildown on the subject of instagram.

First of all, let’s talk about stories. They’re not that easy to do, they only last 24 hours and then they vaporize, but they do float your photo to the top of your followers’ feeder page, and that might be a plus for you — for me, it’s not a big deal, and I probably won’t do many of them.

The second thing is that your page has to reflect you, be your avatar, act and react as you do. Personalize your page, and be that character, act as that character does, think as it does, just as if you were playing a theatrical part, using the Method method of acting.

Hmmm… The Method method. That can’t be right. Isn’t it the method Method?

There are so many things to learn and to master if you’re into the whole thing in total intensity, but if you’re just going to have a few minutes a day to work this gig, you’d better know right now that the only things that are really important about commercial instagram are the postings, which means the photo, the CTA, the caption, the concept, and the hashtags.

Do those five things and you’ll build a natural and organic following on instagram, and you should see results right away — likes and comments and sharings galore.

The thing is, the caption can be 330 words long, but your audience won’t ever see the whole thing unless they click “more”, which they won’t ever do. Not ever.

So limiting your caption to 125 words makes your entire caption visible at a glance.

Of course, if you want to make it longer, you can, but always work journalist style, starting with the CTA — Call to Action — and then ending with your hashtags at the bottom, so if they get wrapped to the backside, nobody will miss your actual message.

The CTA can be real simple, like “click on the link in my bio”. I like that the best, because it is what I want them to do — go to my brane-power website.

Ultimately, I’m trying to drive traffic to the brane-power website because most of our folks started their journey with us by purchasing an ammy from the brane-power website, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year!

The caption is secondary to the photo.

The photo is what captures the attention or it doesn’t. It has to appeal to your audience, and may not appeal to anyone outside that audience, such as a photo of a “Quantum Witch” ammy or a special “portable” model of the SuperBeacon for house visits.

It’s easy to learn how to use instagram and you’re probably already on it, maybe for years now, but you might not know how to set up your account for business, and you might not be taking advantage of the selling modes to add to your present income.

You can sell our products and we drop ship for you to your customer. You keep the profit — I want you to consider coming to more workshops, but you’ll have to earn the money to be able to afford the food, lodging and travel expenses, and this is a great way to do it.

You can highlight any product — just make your bio linked url be a landing page from which they can easily navigate to where you want them to go.

I understand that once you have accumulated 10,000 followers, you’re allowed to insert hot links in your captions, but that might not be true. I won’t be able to test it for a few weeks until my stats get over the 10,000 mark.

I’m told it could take weeks and weeks to get those 10,000 followers, and I refuse to buy them or to employ bots in my tag and hashmark work — I go by instinct and trust my instinct more than the computer’s brainiac searches.

  • PHOTO — The photo has to be super-reactive to your clientele and nobody else.
  • CTA — The Call to Action should be simply to click on the link in your bio.
  • CAPTION — The Caption should be a 125 word mini-blog on your product or service.
  • CONCEPT — The Concept should be something that will engage your audience.
  • HASHTAGS — The Hashtags should be as targeted as possible.

You can forget about all the tricky stuff and hacks and runarounds that you’ll find touted by mavens and net gurus all over the place — just be real, be authentic, be yourself.

Of course, being yourself does beg the point. You gotta know yourself to be yourself. At least some part of this instagram marketing exercise will reveal to you who and what you are, and possibly even reveal your fullest possible potential.

Would you like that, or would you rather remain asleep?

Answer “Yes” if you would like to know yourself. You can click on the link in my bio to respond.

Are you looking around in a panic for that “link” button in the bio? Are you wondering where the hell the bio might be found?

There isn’t one. I told you before that there isn’t one. It’s just an indicator of what you could do on instagram.

Try to stay with the program, soldier. You want to initiate some response from every reader — anything at all will do, including sending your thing to their friends with a single click of a button. You can tell them to do that, too.

As a matter of fact, they won’t do anything you don’t tell them or ask them to do, and that’s a fact, Jack.

The best results would be to get a “like” thumbs up from your readers, plus a “share” and a “comment” and a “click-through to the website”.

The more interaction you have with others, the more instagram likes and shares your posting, and that’s the only fact you really need to know.

If you plan to be a market maven on instagram, be prepared to spend the majority of your day writing back to those who bothered to take the time to comment, share or like your stuff.

By the way, it would really help me if you could get others to link to my page, like my posts and share them with others.

I need to reach 10,000 followers soon, so I can test my theories of ig marketing, one of which is: if you don’t ask, they won’t do it.

You can find out more about fundraising as well, and you might be able to roust up some help in our Labyrinth Readers Society — we need readers!

You can also fundraise for us — find out how by contacting us in the usual way — or you can use the chat in today’s workshop forum feed.

Okay, I better run for breakfast and the ICW — You can be “At The Top” by wearing the Godd™ Particle Pendant, which also prevents lower rebirth if worn for at least 30 days — you can remove it at night, and place it at a bedside table.

You might want to check on youtube for the following market mavens:

  • Jerry Potter
  • Vanessalau
  • oberlo

I hope you get the hints they provide. Remember that it’s not about numbers, it’s about quality — who needs ten thousand bot followers? Stay organic and have some fun with this and make plenty money at the same time, but KEEP the day job until you’re clearing $100k a year, okay?

See You At The Top!!!
