Well, I finally figured out a way to get you to my opensea pages. Here’s a link to my “Trading Cards” gallery in opensea, where you’ll see a selection of my InstaGram buttons — they’re usually 1024×1024 bits of philosophically waxing semi-eloquence. Check it out:

There. That wasn’t so bad, was it? Did you try to buy anything? If you did, and you happen to already have a MetaMask Wallet and a bunch of Ethereum stuffed into it, you’ll notice that my stuff is not listed for sale, although you can see it tantalizingly close-up and personal.

The reason for this is that I have not succeeded successfully in achieving a transaction with Wyre, which could have deposited the Ethereum directly in my account, and had to instead turn to CoinBase, which takes about two weeks to do the same transaction. Here’s a glimpse of my “Ceramics” studio, which is just now starting to get some images in.

That means I won’t be able to open my store for business until May 1st, and that’s okay with me, because there’s a lot of marketing to do first.

I’ve been basically “off the market” for about 20 years, with only a few sales per year, and no auction sales recorded, at least no major works have gone up for sale recently.

I’ve been fine with that — I might  paint again, with this refreshing artistic wind at my back, but I have no plans for shows, exhibits or jazz performance venues, although we did do a jazz event this month.

Even though I’m currently blocked from actually posting my listings, I can still list items right up to, but not including, the pricing routine and edition limitation, that sort of thing.

But what you CAN do is upload the item — not a quick task out here in the boondies — and describe it, and do the best you can to do all the things that take time to do.

Then when the account gets “Initialized”, which costs about $200.00 right now, you can do the rest of the job the rest of the way, meaning prices, setting royalties, and all that sort of thing.

The whole point of the exercise is to develop several LINES of graphics with varying focus-points and a variety of interests, but not universal appeal, it’s still directed, still very niche.

The acrylic landscape canvases that are represented in this collection are all marked “Not For Sale”, but you can buy a single solitary unique NFT of that piece, and only one. The whole catalog is currently all unique solitary 1/1 items.

There are a lot of things in there, and a lot more are scheduled, but it takes about an hour to upload one of these little puppies, so I’m going a bit slow here.

The idea of combining video footage or audio tracks with a “cover” image is very attractive to me — I like multimedia event-driven artworks, and the more animated, the better, in some cases, although that’s not true of my landscapes, which try to achieve serenity and beauty.

When I say “High-End”, I mean it. These pieces are one-of-a-kind of my best stuff, and I’m hoping to finance the Healing Ashram with the result of a few of these higher-end sales.

I have some celebrity materials that I’ll be developing for a later market, but for right now, this is the line of artwork I’m putting out there.

I’ll change it as I deem necessary, so if you see something you want at a price you can’t afford, tell me, and I’ll see what I can do to accommodate your circumstances. In some cases, the price is the price, set to achieve certain work-goals.

When the account gets turned on, you’ll note that the photo of our “Big Spin California Lottery Win” is priced at E 6313, which comes out to exactly $15,220,000.00, which was our family’s lottery win on my lottery ticket, with my Mom’s incredibly lucky spin, breaking months of “no hit” on the big one.

I turned down the lottery money, because I don’t take gambling wins — however, if it’s a payment for a work of art, I’ll certainly accept it.

Actually, it’s not to me that the money is going. It’s all for the benefit of the Institute and our work-community, which is the whole point of doing any of this in the first place. Nothing personal.

That’s the whole bit for the moment — a few hundred items up in four days and nights. I sent a letter off to opensea, asking if there was anything I could do to help — they’re a very small company doing a massive job in an unforseen situation.

The fact is, the NFT market is exploding, and they’re barely able to keep up with it. There are a lot of things opensea hasn’t yet handled — things like multiples and an easy way to embed a listing in your blog or website.

It isn’t easy to get Ethereum, and it’s not at all easy to figure out how to handle the software on the site, although it’s pretty much user-friendly. There are glitches, and eventually, the pressure will demand that they get solved, and they will.

The whole idea behind this is a community. If there’s a community of active and interested traders, there will be a market for it.

That means getting trading clubs established, and shows, exhibits, swap-meets and all manner of thing involving NFTs.

Only when that’s going full-bore will you see a real market develop. Until then, it’s driven by volatility, hope and desperation, and that’s never a good combination.

BUT WAIT!!!

Suddenly, I have great news — the discovery of a digital frame, the exact kind I wanted, and it’s loaded and ready to sell at a cost of $99 or $119, for small and large frames accordingly.

In short, it’s a miracle. You can display your digital art in this frame, and it’s the same frame that Bleeple uses in his marketing. Here, lookit at this:

If that doesn’t give you ideas, how about this: you put one of these together, send for it to your home address, and do an “Unboxing” video for youtube with your artwork in there, which you then shamelessly exploit and sell to the viewer by placing a hot link directly to the sales page on your website.

I can and will provide video clip infinite objects screens in editions of 10, 100 and 1,000, at a cut-rate price of $279.00 per unit.

You have your choice presently from about 20 short videos, and hundreds of still photos. Makes a great KINETIC ART piece for your shelf, base or wall.

These are made by Infinite Objects — on their site you will spot an invitation to the dance, meaning that you can create one of these puppies right then and there.

It may occur to you that these need not necessarily be NFTs in the strictest sense, they are numbered and limited editions.

The thing arrives at your door with the artwork already tucked inside. The minute you pick it up  out of the box, it turns and and keeps going forever.

Well, maybe not forever, but when it’s plugged into the wall with the cord that comes with the digital device it sure will, and I’m reasonably convinced it comes with no instructions because none are needed.

It runs on battery for about 2 hours, then it needs a recharge, and it runs best if left plugged in, which might be a turnoff for some.

So how about it? Any takers? I have some dandy candidates for video frames, and naturally, lots of possible still-frame displays, by making a video out of a still-frame. Simple solution.

I  can also animate a still-frame, of course, but I haven’t done that yet.

This is just one example of a video loop I can mount in a frame for you.

I have many more video loops available. Would you like me to pursue it further? Would you  like to order one now, today??? Perhaps you would like to leave it to my judgment? I have some ideas regarding LRS material, and you can select from what’s on youtube on my gorebagg channel.

Do you have an idea for a digital frame video? Wondering if it will sell? Why not try? The bamboo frame, which I don’t suggest, is a mere $79.00 if $20.00 bucks really makes a difference.

I like the look of the clear acrylic, and it matches my modernist style. I could sell these to a NY gallery in an instant.

See You At The Top!!!
