There’s more, so much more, but I’ll get to it a chunk at a time. Meanwhile, I have a good idea how we can turn our side-hustles into hustles.

One way is to sell our artwork. Another is to sell our jewelry, fashions and creative handmades. Still another is to teach skills.

It’s up to you, but you should take the attitude of a designer — no price is too high for your stuff.

I’ll be pricing in two definite ways on two very different eBay sellers:

  • RAREANDUNUSUAL — This is where I’ll dump my cheapo stuff, starting at a dollar, no reserve, if you get it for a buck, so be it — it costs me about $20 on average to make and send out anything these days, but this is a great way to get things into your hands without pain and fuss.
  • INSANEINVESTOR — My best-established seller was once a Platinum Awards Seller, and I will be again, with this dynamite method of listing that I’ll explain for nothing right here and now in front of God and everybody.

Hi, God. While I’ve got you on the phone, pickup your new blueline, it’s ready for you.

Okay, so where were we??? Oh, yeah, dynamite listing method. What it is, is this:

Always list it as an auction, never as a straight “buy it now” listing. Why? Because it comes down if it doesn’t sell — you don’t want an overcrowded store.

The starting bid is ALWAYS the LEAST that you will ACTUALLY ACCEPT for the item. There is NO reserve price. There is ALWAYS a “buy it now” price of what you would LOVE to get if the piece sold at full retail.

So a jacket might have a starting bid of $350 — that’s what you’ve got in it — and a “buy it now” of, let’s say, $1850.00, which vanishes as soon as a bid goes up, leaving only the LAST BID showing.

That’s it. That’s the whole plan, in a nutshell.

I’ll be conducting  workshops for a while on the subject of creating sellers and things to sell, in particular art, fashion, jewelry and homeware.

This morning I’ll be demonstrating, but not with placards or smoke bombs. I plan to demonstrate how to create a textile for fashions, and how to create a dress without having a seamstress to make it up for you, and how to do this for less than $25 a garment!

The whole idea is to create your own designer brand. If you want to go the extra mile, create a persona to go with it, and use a character from Second Life to represent you photographically, or keep your personal image out of it.

Perfumes are a big part of fashion. I’m selling off my entire perfume production along with a lot of very rare fragrances, for a tiny fraction of what I have in it. You’ll have to ask if you really want to know the price.

I have in hand a complete gallery of WPA New York School art, about 25 pieces, and they’re for sale really cheap, with a giant potential for retail.

I might have a few million coins for you to peddle, if you’ve the time and inclination.

There’s more. Stay tuned.

See You At The Top!!!
