USE THE MUSIC TO CLEAR NEGATIVITY
Negativity has one enormous advantage: you’re usually asleep when it starts.
Something happens. The machinery reacts. The body tightens, the mind starts talking, and suddenly you’re living inside irritation, fear, resentment or despair.
That’s where the waking songs come in.
They aren’t merely there to make you feel better. They can act as interrupts.
You’re caught in the machinery—and suddenly there’s the song. Your attention shifts. You hear the voice, feel the rhythm, recognize a phrase—and something remembers.
Jump.
Come back into the room. Hear the music. Feel the body. See what’s actually happening.
The negativity may still be there, but now you’re looking at it instead of looking from inside it.
Don’t fight the negative state. Use the song as a doorway into waking.
This is why repetition matters. Hear the songs often enough and the music itself becomes associated with the change of state.
Song begins. Something remembers. You wake up.
And when you wake up, negativity loses its greatest source of power:
your unconscious participation in it.
The song doesn’t chase away the storm.
It reminds you that you are not the weather.
