INTERDIMENSIONAL AIRPORT RULES

Welcome to Prosperity Interdimensional Air Terminal.  Please be considerate and follow the rules listed. They are designed to make the airport as user friendly and lag-free as possible for all.

The rule in a public airport is:

LAND towards the NORTH on Runway L36
TAKEOFF towards the SOUTH on Runway L18

Our airfield is designed for students learning small private craft as well as large commercial airliners such as the Black Falcon and the 747 wide-body aircraft, and the landing and takeoff strips in the training area are interchangeable. All landings and takeoffs must be pre-approved by the ATC in the con tower! You are learning to navigate on the open ocean, so regulations from those areas will be applied here.

THE SHORT LIST
———————————————–
1. No firing (or brandishing) of any weapons in the airport area.
2. No firing of weapons at NON-COMBATANTS in the airport area.
3. No air-to-air combat over the airfield.
4. No air-to-ground or ground-to-air combat over the airfield.
5. No caging, griefing, harassing, editing of others’ aircraft, foul lanuage, or any behavior deemed offense to generally accepted community standards.
6. No use of land vehicles at the airport if not pre-approved by admin.

All Users

1.  Remove any mysti-devices or long-range scanners. Don’t merely turn them off, remove them.

2.  Remove attached objects and scripts that adversely impact sim performance (such as scripted hair, scripted attachments, particle emitters).

3.  Keep runway clear. Runway is for take off and landings only. Taxi clear of runway when not landing or taking off.

4.  Do not leave aircraft unattended at the airport.  Planes are subject to return if the owner is not in the immediate area unless you have a hangar assignment or a tie-down landing strip assigned to you.

5. Absolutely no weapon firing at the airport or immediate areas. No tolorance. (See the short list)

PILOT REGULATIONS

1. Minimum ceiling in the Blake Sea is 70 meters, which is to say, 50 meters above the water, 70 meters above the hard seabed. Over our training field, the minimum altitute is 710 neters, 10 meters above the “ground”. If you crash into a building, all that will happen is humiliation. The building will be all right, and we’ll help you rescue your plane if necessary. You are not allowed to rotate your own plane, so call for help from an admin if your plane is stuck somewhere. Never leave a plane for me to find and return to you — that falls under the category of sticking me for the drinks. I’m the janitor, but I own the building, and I say “clean up after yourself”.

2. Minimum ceiling you’ll be facing in some sims in the  Blake Sea is 100 meters — .80 meters above the water, 100 meters abve the seabed. The sims that enforce this are: Blake Diego, Blake Roatan, Blake Zatzai, Blake Shore, Blake Cove, Blake Tortuga, Blake Coast, Blake Bay, Union Passage.

3. Keep runway clear. Runway is for take off and landings only. Taxi clear of runway when not landing or taking off.

4. Normal take offs are to the south. Normal landings are to the north, with the exception of the training field, where landings and takeoffs are east and west, and either direction may be used. Do not land and takeoff without permission from the ATC unless you are in a training mission or aircraft training class.

5. Be courteous to other pilots. Park your aircraft so as to not block any part of the runway or taxiways.

6. No aerobatics directly over Hollywood Airport.

7. Planes which are not using assigned tie-down strips or hangars are subject to return if the owner is not in the area (i.e. the same sim). Autoreturn is set for 10 minutes.

Hangar Leasees
——————
1. All planes in hangars have working scripts and cost plenty to keep there. If you want to keep a working plane in a hangar at the airport, you’ll have to pay the cost. Recommended: fly rezzer planes only until you’re sure you want to invest in it heavily.

2. Hangars may have any number of descripted planes up to the prim limits of the hangar, which at this time is “zero”. We have run out of prims necessary for plane storage.

3. Please be mindful of the scripting load of your airplane vendors and only use low lag vendors if any to produce your airplane, and only if authorized by admin to do so. Permission to rez is required for every instance of rezzing with your own rez item. You have carte-blanche to fly, drive, ride or otherwise mobilize yourself on any vehicle you find at the Ashram. I have placed many auto-rezzing items around for your unlimited use.. If something doesn’t work, it’s your responsibility to report it, so others don’t have the same experience. This is a natural and important part of the Bodhisattva training. If it needs cleaning, and you’re in the area, you’re elected.

4. Display advertising can be on the front facing side of the hangar but not above the roof line. All display advertising must be approved by admin — you can advertise your comedy club or your jazz group at the airport’s famous Terminal Lounge, or you might want to run the airport’s new Souvenir & BL (Between Lives) Memento Shoppe, where you can get the latest copy of the BardoTown Gazette, and/or a Prosperity Path Magic Wand or Ring of Power, or just an overnighter kit with toothbrush & spare underwear.

5. No objects, signs, planes,  etc.  may be above the hangar except as authorized by Ashram admin.  A single helicopter is permitted on a hangar roof, if any at all. At this time, we have no room for more objects in the airport. You have your choice of several autorezzer choppers at the airport and on ground level.

6. No rotating objects, ever
.
7. Keep local-light objects to a minimum.

That’s it — the rules are simple, designed to prepare you for flight in the Blake Sea environment when we go on Interdimensional explorations and missions.

See You At The Top!!!
