What is a Blessing?
Well, some would say that THIS is a Blessing — I Blessed at the same time as you read the word “THIS”, in caps, as you’ll note, a habit of the Very Old.
I predate the Baby Boomers by an easy decade, and that makes me officially a Short-Timer. We used to have short-timers on our Army bases — I knew several sergeants who were short, meaning they were just weeks away from their retirement.
Imagine being a member of the Armed Forces now, with the threat of cancellation of all military votes still hanging in the air.
So what am I selling today?
