A Few Ideas …

Here are just a few ideas for today. If you’re thinking of making some videos, this is a good time to start.

By the time we’re 3 or 4 years into lockdown and maskup and kyd — keep your distance — there will be some 35 million musicians on youtube, with dozens of videos each, so get in there while the getting is good.

Here’s an exploration of the jazz standard “Fly Me To The Moon”, played by absolutely everybody in the jazz field at least one time.

This next video is a DIGITECH TRIO PLUS adaptation of Lynyrd Synyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama”, a song that every guitarist MUST know, even if they don’t play it ever, not even once. It has a root position, and that you must learn one day or another.

This guy is in his crowded garage workshop, and he doesn’t have a lot of views, but he DOES know how to make a guitar sing, against the backing track he just made on his DIGITECH TRIO PLUS Band Creator & Looper.

One more, showing experimentation with laying in the bass and drum tracks, the looper function and improv over the whole result. Note that these videos don’t typically garner thousands of views.

You want to play guitar? Get used to the sound of crickets. There are millions of guitarists out there, and most of them play far better than anyone you know.

See You At The Top!!!
