This is just one example of the kind of building this guy does — mostly Kibri Kits and City Classics style, looks like a miniature train layout, which is exactly what we want, only we want it for the iphone and android, and our game engine just doesn’t go like that, we only do PC games with the Godd™ engine, and I’m not trained to handle the Unity engine, although I’ve tried.
Here’s an interesting possibility… This guy, firasferjen319, claims he can write the whole game in any platform — for android, ios, windows hd, and here’s the problem it solves:
We don’t have any way of rewriting our games as an android or iphone game. The best thing would be to simply copy the game over from PC to a smartphone platform, so I’d send him my game and ask him to come as close as possible to it.
Now for the sci-fi games, this is great — all of them will be single-player games, almost all of them will take place in exotic environments, and all of them will be shooters of one kind or another.
There are multiplayer game developers, too — their games typically cost about $1,000 to build and get onto the app store. They do all the work. What I want is a set of 10 CTF levels, Capture the Flag, see???
There isn’t another one of those out there, not that I think there’s much of a market, but you never know, and we can use it ourselves, with groups of maybe 7 or 8 avatars in a dungeon party.
We made a bunch of dungeon party games back in the day — Hot Night in Hell — and I’d love to give those levels over to this guy and let him re-create our very first video games.
I’d also give the photos of the tabletop BardoTown to see what could be done there to re-create the atmosphere we managed to get in those 35mm photos.
Biggest problem won’t be the game itself — it will be getting the app onto the app store if you don’t know what you’re doing — that should be daunting, to say the least, and most probably impossible, and one of the factors is that he’s willing to post it on the app store for $200, while most developers expect $1,000 for the same service with their “advanced” offerings, which have more features, as you’d expect, like sound effects, animations, things like that.
I don’t know if I’ll end up hiring him, however, in hopes that something might come of it, I’m posting the guy’s contact url in fiverr. I have no way to do anything about this other than inform you, so that’s what I’m doing.
The guy whose fiverr url address I’m posting does single-player games only, but at first, that’s what I’d want, and I know exactly which game I’d give him to make, too.
It’s a game to which I have the author’s rights — “Dragon Lady”, the infamous story by Evelyn E. Smith that has the dragon as the heroine of the tale.
She kills the knights who are invading her lair, then goes after the rest of the army, attacking the nearby village, and finally the king’s fortress.
Simple story line, could be an elegant and tricky little android/iphone shooter, if all goes well.
After that, I’ll want to trot out all my sci-fi titles, especially Bob Sheckley’s “City of the Dead”, the rights to which we also have, along with rights from Bradbury, Heinlein, Chad Oliver, Asimov and a host of other sci-fi, fantasy and horror writers — I knew them all, and have hundreds of great science fiction stories in my “game rights” basket.

$200 buys a very basic package, but it’s enough to test the market, and it INCLUDES the upload to the app store, which normally costs $99.

Keep in mind that, although there are hundreds of people who specialize in shopify, you don’t really need it, if you’ve already got a website up. It’s just convenient for these folks to perform that task, so a lot of them offer shopify stores and promotions, that’s all.
Myself, I would promote something FREE, something virtual that they can get just by giving you their valid email address so you can mail their gift out to them.
That becomes your selling list. Don’t build your own list, don’t sweat subscribers, let the merc do the work!
Get onto fiverr.com and launch your first attempt — maybe a freebie coaching session with a QMV??? Think of something, come up with something that somebody would enjoy, and promote it and do it.
You’re gonna like this — it’s like having your own powerhouse advertising department, but you hire your workers by the job, not by the hour.
Imagine having that game maker guy produce one of our Godd™ games but for android and iphone???
And imagine having someone write up an article about it, and publish it to over a million people, for an additional $50.00 bucks???
This has possibilities and, hey, if you have no talent, they’ll write the book for you, invent the game for you, develop the website for you and write your blogs and social media content for all of the platforms that are out there.
