Exploding Lips is HERE!!!

Yep, I’ve finished the levels for Exploding Lips, and they’ll be ready for testing in a day or two, after they’ve been trouble-shooted (shot? maimed? merely nicked?) for problems, like blowing up all of a sudden when you least expect it. Happens in all engines, but you want to keep that sort of stuff to a minimum.

The levels are adapted directly from the godd wars starter kit that I posted for you on etsy — actually, there are several, and they’ll all work to help you get started to make things like this.

Don’t forget, I used exactly what you have available in your building kits, but I’ve added the lips, which are a product of Claude’s models plus Dick’s Exponential Particle Accelerator, contained in this special engine, just for the exploding things.

I plan to make a few more fun orbs featuring the explosion thingy, one of which will certainly be “Exploding Furniture”, which features a paranoid fantasy about the chair suddenly leaping on you and going for the throat.

This won’t actually happen, unless you’re in a space where it could. I make a set of gaming levels where that’s exactly what does happen. The furniture comes alive and attacks you without warning.

Not all the furniture, of course. Just some. Randomly placed, as it were.

Now, the exploding lips are another matter. They arose out of a need to create a kid’s game that didn’t involve blood and gore and flying body bits.

The game, “Exploding Lips”, was issued in 2007 and is listed on Steam, of course, previously under the aegis of “galaxy games”, which has now changed to “goddgames”, soon to be rectified on the steam page when we can get to it — there’s a lot on the plate at the moment.

I’m trying to outrun the civil unrest that’s about to boil over, so I know you’ll forgive a certain air of urgency about all this.

I’ll have a  downloadable version of Exploding Lips in just a few days if all goes well, which it hasn’t ever before, but there’s always a first time.

I hope you get a tickle out of the concept of exploding things in virtual spaces, and I’ll look for your vote in the form of a download when it does hit the street.

Oops, I better run, breakfast bell’s a ringing!

See You At The Top!!!
