“The Movements a Short History” is on Exhibit NOW!

Actually, you don’t have to drive anywhere to see the Movements exhibit — actually, it’s right here at the touch of a button. Go ahead, touch it.

The exhibit shows only a few of the many vintage photos we’re adding into the Movements Book, which is very close to completion, very very close!!!

There are several of us working on it all at once, making it almost inevitable that there will be some misteaks made here and their.

Ignore them and they will eventually seem normal.

So hopefully this exhibit will be associated with the dance movements on at least one of our websites, and possibly find its way into the social media network.

Of course, I could have put in more recent photos, actually in color, but I ran out of room, so I’ll do another later on with recent color photos, and maybe short videos.

There are so many options, but you want to take care to not overload the potential with crap just for the sake of spewing out stuff.

In short, only do exhibitions that work and are cogent to the time, place & people.

Speaking of people, I make the calculation that if Trump is re-elected, we have only a few short months to endure before they figure out a way to blast the entire planet out of orbit.

That should bring on the Rapture, if nothing else does, and that’s what the Evangelicals are actually trying to accomplish, and I think they’ve got a winner in the Republican party.

Myself, I’m rooting for the losers. I have a dollar bet on a bad outcome, and I can’t afford to lose a dollar — it’s not one of your stupid dollars, it’s a Federation Dollar, with which you could buy several of your galaxies and still have change left over.

I have several more ideas for exhibits. If you do some exhibits, you should think of them as linked to a specific website or websites.

For instance, my Paper Arts exhibit could do well on one of our art outlet websites.

Here’s the thing — the exhibit is a wide-open doorway, a gateway, if you like, to your website and to your world.

It’s a friendly way to invite someone to come on in.

Moving around in the exhibit gives the impression that you’ve walked into a space through a doorway.

It’s a very immersive effect, and it can lead to sales and lots of public contact. Think of the exhibits in two possible ways — to sell things or to show things.

Actually, you can do both.

I’m going to take the opportunity to put up a few hundred works of art that never got a chance to get into the gallery, and there’s more that could be photographed, and that includes objects as well as wall-art.

You should know that within each of the items on exhibit there can be placed a hot-link to whatever url you wish, more or less.

If you’re really clever, it’ll be direct to a sales page with an “add to shopping cart” feature. If you don’t know how to do this, perhaps you’ll find solace in the social media brand of selling through facebook and other such pillars of social communication.

The thing is, you can do this for a living.

There’s a monthly fee for the owner of the thing you just made for someone else, and that’s a consideration that you need to take into account, if you’re going to make these things for money.

You can’t control the monthly fee — it is what it is, but it starts at $12 a month, which won’t hurt any retailer worth their weight in feathers, salt or padded bust-proof cellphone covers.

That monthly fee is what ties all your exhibits to you and your pocketbook.

You’ll be able to make maybe 20 exhibits on one professional account, but you’ll need to make other accounts or get into a conversation with kunstmatrix to work out some deal that works for everyone, and they encourage this on their website.

Keep in mind that the exhibits are all ASSOCIATED WITH SPECIFIC WEBSITES.

What I’m making are GATEWAYS, doorways to another dimension. When constructing a gateway, there are many considerations to be taken into account.

What is the purpose? What is the end result? What are you trying to do? Why are you messing with other peoples’ minds?

Never mind that last — we’ll have our answer next November at the polling booths.

Really, what is it you want them to do? If it’s just mooch around your website, there are better ways to do this.

On the other hand, if you want to extend a hand of friendship, this is EXACTLY what you’ve been waiting for!

Okay, so let’s examine your website — what’s it about, if anything, other than you?

If you have a theme stated somewhere, you’re ‘way ahead of the game. All you need to do now is find some graphics lying about in your computer, graphics that you own, you produced.

You’ll need anywhere from 20 to 55 of them to fill the slots in the exhibit halls, and each one requires an explanation.

Actually, there are about a dozen slots to fill out when you’re loading an image into the exhibit hall space.

Everything has to be in order. It’s gotta work right. If the exhibit falls apart or there’s an obvious problem, it can be solved, generally quite easily.

You can even edit a piece of artwork while it’s on the wall — just click into it when you’re in the “curate” mode.

Curate means to have an active set, where you can move things around, rather than a passive set like what the public will see once you’re done with it and have published it.

There’s another thing — if you make changes in a published piece, it isn’t published anymore.

You have to re-publish it with the changes in order to get it to show up for anyone else other than yourself.

You could put a wedding photo collection into one of these things, and in this case, if you’ve done this for someone else, they probably don’t want it up there forever, which opens the can of worms of renting these exhibits for a short period of time, like a month.

After that, you delete the exhibit. There’s gotta be a way to save the exhibit on the side, but I haven’t explored that yet. I’ll get around to it, but I have no use for the temp exhibit at this time other than what I’ve put up  already.

I have other ideas, but I’m waiting to put those onto another account that I’ll run for the museum.

I’ve also thought that the exhibit space could be used to show auction previews. It’s not perfect, but it would give an idea to the buyer of what they’re buying, and a comparison of the entire auction would be in ready sight.

That often helps to make good auctions and good auction sales.

You can have one, both or neither, and we’ve had them all. I really think you should consider producing a SILENT auction with the exhibit on the side — bids would be made by text or message, or just plain verbally, in a Zoom Room or other communication system.

There are currently several thousand virtual currencies on the market. Wait until there are just three and they’re under strict regulation before you invest in crypto.

However, if you want to buy a NFT from my collection, you’ll need some ETH, and it’s a LOT cheaper now than when we first when into NFT manufacture.

You can go to opensea and make an offer on any of my stuff — offers less than .01 are not considered.

The gas fees are signifiantly lower now than they were, because there’s less interest in crypto, and for good reason — the whole thing is flaky and there’s a risk of ending up on the bottom of the pyramid.

That’s never a good idea, unless you’re reaching for a can of peas in a supermarket stack, in which case, ALWAYS take the can on the bottom.

So one purpose that you might have is to attraction ATTENTION.

This will work, but not by itself. The exhibit has to be unique and interesting enough in concept to attract attention without specific content.

This generally involves a GREAT subject line and an INCREDIBLE image.

If you don’t have either one, you need a workshop, and that’s exactly what I’m offering — a workshop in creating exciting and interesting VIRTUAL EXHIBIT HALLS.

Each hall has its own theme, and I can combine halls to create a chain of interconnected halls, each with its own coloration and soundbytes.

There’s a LOT of things I can do to make the exhibition interesting, but it STARTS with a great environment.

There are some very good environments available at no extra charge, but if you want a custom environment, you’d better be doing well — meaning earning several thousand a month or more — before you consider actually BUYING an environment, but they do have them for sale at anywhere from a few hundred to many hundred of Euros apiece.

I can’t yet see the need, but the things are there if you get rich quick or are already on a stipend as a result of a Trust of some kind.

A book store is an obvious exhibit, but you should change the book list every month, to make it interesting.

You offer a group of books, like a reviewer and, in fact, you DO put your short reviews in the description of each entry.

Now, that might take up more time than you can afford to give, so maybe make ONE book change on the 15th of every month, so they get some sense of immediacy.

What about jewelry, such as earrings or necklaces or bracelets? And how about kid’s stuff like binkies and unisuits and stickum cups? Or what about putting up your fashions, like I’ve done on Leslie Ann’s Fashions exhibit.

Everything in there is for sale, and these are all REAL actual things that I make on Zazzle and then have them drop-ship it to my client.

I never receive it and I can actually just link right to the selling page on zazzle with the hot-link on the item.

The whole idea is to attract a crowd and then direct them to a sales page.

How about showing what a non-profit does all year long, through pictures mostly, maybe with a few soundbytes and videos. Show them what their donations are doing every day to help people.

Got an interest in butterflies? Wow, is this a great way to go about showing off any kind of collection, without risk to the collected stuff and without the need for on-site security. Nobody’s going anywhere with these strictly virtual things.

If you work in the Godd™ Engine and take some screenshots with your F4 button, you need to know that they will appear in your godd folder under “SNAPS”.

Be sure to remove them after copying them elsewhere, to make more room on your C drive, if that’s where your godd folder happens to reside.

If you have a bunch of family photos, be sure to make a family exhibit hall and invite them to the WEBSITE on which it is embedded.

If you don’t want to put it on a website, you can just send them the url and let them get there by dint of browser.

Okay, time to skedaddle for breakfast.

See You At The Top!!!
