Broadcast Live!

🎙️ Zoom → YouTube Live Checklist (Gorby’s Simple DJ Setup)

Before You Go Live
☐ Open Zoom and sign in.
☐ Plug in your mic or headset.
☐ Open any music, videos, or GODD levels you plan to share.
☐ Make sure your YouTube account is logged in on your browser.

When You’re Ready

  1. Start your Zoom meeting (just you, or invite guests if you like).

  2. Click Share Screen — pick what you want people to see (desktop, GODD window, etc.).

  3. Click More (⋯) in the Zoom toolbar.

  4. Select “Live on YouTube.”

  5. A browser window opens — sign in to YouTube if asked.

  6. Fill in:

    • Title: e.g. “🎧 Gorby’s Live DJ Session on KGOD”

    • Visibility: Public / Unlisted / Private

    • (Optional) Add a short description.

  7. Click Go Live.

You’re now broadcasting your voice, music, and screen directly to YouTube Live!

During the Show
☐ Keep an eye on the Zoom “LIVE” red dot — that means you’re streaming.
☐ Talk between songs, like:

“You’re listening to E.J. the DJ — on KGOD, the station that makes it.”
☐ Play your tracks, explore your visuals, or run your GODD levels while narrating.

To End the Show
☐ Click End Meeting in Zoom — that also stops the YouTube stream.
☐ Wait a few seconds — YouTube will automatically archive the video to your channel.
☐ Add tags or a thumbnail later if you like.
