Gratitude Workshop Ahead

How to get the face, hand and food plates into the same shot…?

Say the word “gratitude” and you get a non-committal grunt and a blank look from just about anyone, but did you know that GRATITUDE is a powerful spiritual tool?

Yep, it is, and I’m just the bird to show you how to make it fly. Come to the Gratitude Workshop on this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend, and we’ll explore the ways in which gratitude can work for you, and help others around you and connected with you, as well.

I know you’ve heard the Eastern European expression, “Thanking you in adwance.” (That’s “Thanking you in advance”, but with a thick Yiddish accent.)

It hasn’t happened yet, but you’re being grateful in advance of the fact. You’re anticipating that it will happen, but the time hasn’t yet come.

It’s entirely possible that you could power-up your thanksgiving to the extent that it causes what it is you’re thanking for, in advance.

You’ll find this principle in prayer, especially around mealtimes:

“Thank you, Lord, for this bountiful meal,” just as you’re about to cut into the single piece of day-old toast you’re sharing among four very hungry persons.

It’s not sarcastic, it’s a real thanks, for a real bountiful meal of one single piece of day-old toast split into four parts.

With things happening as they are, meaning the conversion of the Untied Snakes of Arnica into a dictatorship, you never know what’s going to be on the table, or if you’ll even have a table.

It could be truck snarls, dock workers, loading and unloading issues, and then there’s the spoilage of millions of tons of food out there on ships waiting to get into dock, and when they get there, you can’t find a dock worker to unload the ship.

It’s bad, but nobody is saying yet how bad it’s going to get, and it won’t get any better for a long, long time.

So, how to be grateful when the world is crumbling around you?

That’s nothing new. I’ve seen it crumble before, thousands of times, and it almost always recovers, mostly, except of course for the local lifeforms. They’re always the first to go.

After a while, the sun blows up.

Then try being grateful. How about “grateful” when the entire universe goes “cold”, totally dead, zero energy?

It’s a long wait to the next cycle, and nobody wants to just hang in the dark.

Don’t hang in the dark. Come to the “Thanksgiving Gratitude Workshop”, where we will cover all kinds of subjects, explore and examine the latest stuff out of our studio, and of course focus on how to use gratitude as a tool for good.

Oh, here’s a bit of good news:

Because we don’t have visitors anymore, and the covid environment is deadly to us old folks, we came up with a way for you to “be here now”, with the use of our special foods.

We’re not shipping foods anywhere, for fear of being responsible for God Knows What, but we can remedy this by making our foods available, but prepared by you in your own home.

All you need are some step-by-step instructions to take you through the entire process, including the presentation and dramatic flourishes and touches.

It’s not just a plate — it’s a 10″ handpainted ceramic serving platter.

So we’re making a series of videos, where each member of the Cloister demonstrates in a step-by-step cooking class, exactly how we prepare and serve our foods at our little cafe.

By partaking of that special food, you actually manifest yourself “here”, and with luck, you might be somewhat visible, as you stand there wondering what went right.

So watch for the release of our video cooking school. Here’s a teaser:

See You At The Top!!!
