10,000 Kangaroos on the Blockchain

I borrowed the title from Mr. Fungible at NFT Times on youtube. He said it wouldn’t work, but I think it might, and I’m willing to risk ten minutes of my time to prove it. You can see his youtube channel here:

see his youtube page

He mentions in his video a number of things related to marketing. Now, apart from a class demonstration on marketing which I might put up on opensea, youtube or, you should pardon the expression, “the website formerly known as facebook”, I don’t care whether I sell anything or not. It Worked!!!

I’m thinking of completing this and listing it on eBay. What do you think?

So I tried using the same techniques on eBay that I’ve been using on youtube, and by golly, it worked!

Same exact things do exactly the same on each venue. I can bump up the “view” rate and increase the number of bids, using the same skills and getting the same outcomes. Continue reading

Need More Money?

Sugar Ray Leonard was a family friend. The NFT is for sale, the original glove is not.

Need more money???

Okay, how about a million dollars, just for starters? No, I’m not kidding, nor am I putting you on, or leading you by the collar or wandering down the rosebush lane.

It’s a fact that you have the very real possibility of becoming the most collectible and sought-after NFT creator on the planet, and all you have to do is TRY.

Oh, well, there goes the ballgame. Continue reading

Who Likes #short #shorts???

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPoJPa-shyI&feature=youtu.be

The answer is, of course, “We like short-shorts”, to complete the song lyric from the doo-wop days when Dick Clark was King, but much stuff has flowed under the thing since then.

I’ve spent the past few days and nights trying to load around 100 #shorts onto youtube in a number of different channels, notably ejgoldguru, gorebagg, gorby’s shorts — and I’m planning to put a bunch of sci-fi #shorts on galaxyezine when I get the chance.

Some of my #shorts have gotten two thousand views, most get nothing or just a few nibbles, but the night is yet young, and we shall see what happens after a few days of hanging around.

I’m not sure any of them have made the “short shelf” and I really don’t care — it’s enough to know that one or more of you in our work circle will hit the million-mark.

That’s the game, or should I say, that’s The Game. Continue reading

New Way to Market Books!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmC99FUIBaw&feature=youtu.be

Yep, I’ve stumbled on a new way to market books, but first, you have to try to understand that the #shorts are what make this world go around at the moment.

#shorts get the crowd, get plenty of views, far more than ordinary landscape videos, and surely more than the over-sixty-seconds group of videos, which is most of them. Continue reading

Belly-Busting Gags for the Day Ahead…

Here are some real zingers, that I intend to use in my comedy run of #shorts on youtube. Each joke gets its own #short, of course. That way, I get more Clicks, which is the whole point, to build up the channel, grow the response list and get more subscriptions.

In a way, that mirrors the Great Work. Actually, it IS the Great Work. The whole idea behind my #shorts Work Campaign is that youtube is in desperate ambition to utterly destroy tiktok, so they tend to back any creator who comes up with shorts — it’s only been three months since they kicked off this strategy of having their own brand of short videos. New Way to Use Youtube

The playlist is your friend, your ally, your natural partner in the youtube environment.

What you do is, when you first list the video, you click on the appropriate playlist or multiple playlists that apply and would properly describe your video.

A rather fat list of subjects would — and does — look like this, on my ejgoldguru channel:

You can see here that the playlist at the top left is “liked videos”. You can edit all these playlists by going into the “studio” mode and clicking on “playlists”. Continue reading

Newest Latest Thumbnails!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8P_SVitGAEU

Yes, at last, a profoundly effective thumbnail workup that makes your job a whole lot easier, and makes it more likely that someone will hit the thumbnail and view your video, but keep in mind that with my virtual magic thumbnails, THE THUMBNAIL IS THE DESTINATION – the client need go no further to achieve our goal, which is: the thumbnail streamed on by, whether it was viewed or not, it was there for a fraction of an instant, and it’s on every computer that’s tuned in to youtube, but only for a momentary passing. It’s all in an Eyeblink!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFQ91ccVKss

Here’s how it works:

First of all, the client sees what? It’s gotta be the thumbnail, followed closely by the title of the video, enshrined in two lines or less, right below the thumbnail, which is supposed to entice the client to click into the video, and thus be exposed, albeit briefly, to several options including “Like”, “Comment”, “Watch Video”, “Subscribe” and possibly even give a click-through the hotlink to your web page, in this case “http://www.brane-power.com” and hopefully on to a full exploration of the website.

But … but … But what if the thumbnail IS the destination? Continue reading
