Fred Katz Redux

The first thing you’re going to ask is, “How come I don’t know about this guy, Fred Katz???”  Personnel on this 1958 breakthrough album include Buddy Collette on flute, Billy Bean on guitar, Don Fagerquist on trumpet, Bob Enevoldsen on trombone, Jack Constanzo and Larry Bunker on percussion, Oscar-winning composer John Williams on piano. So how come you didn’t know about this incredible history-making album until now???

The obvious answer is, Fred Katz didn’t want you to know until now. Fred Katz is, like myself, a rather outspoken visitor from another dimension. He is nominally viewed as a Jewish Mystic, and is a high-school dropout anthropology professor at Cal State Fullerton, and an accomplished artist and musician at the very crux of creation, the edge of the event-horizon of jazz — he invented the jazz cello … but there’s more to the story than that … much, much more. Word of Web

http://youtu.be/YamDoDK71Ds

Now that I have your attention…

Word of Mouth has been the primary cause of sales of product and services, for at least for as long as I’ve seen it in action, which is something on the order of just under 8,000 years of human history, along with a few dozen centuries of “othernesses,” who came along just before homo sap took over the planet…temporarily, according to the predictions of some of my “not from around here” friends. Men in Black had it almost right, but the alien plot is even more dastardly and fiendish than anyone thought possible. I’ll explain… Continue reading

Animal Shelter

http://youtu.be/Oqa9J0AsTO0

This animal shelter video game is … well, to be generous, good in conception and crapola in execution. I can do much, much better to create a game that encourages people to adopt unwanted and abandoned pets, and to treat animals — including bipeds — a lot better. I’d need development money, about $300,000, for animators and programmers to make it happen, but it’s well within reach, and could, if it’s made right, be a blockbuster runaway viral video game! Any takers?

Go-Go Gone Ga-Ga

There’s a certain “look” to dancing these days that disallows one to stray from the path of the Orthodox Dance of the Day, but actually, it’s always been that way. These girls have to work very hard at their craft, which clearly, from the moves used in the dance, involves attracting sex partners, object… possible relationship. Continue reading

Is it Pool??? Or Billiards???

You’ll have to spend a bit of extra effort determining the nature of the table-game. If you’ve been haunting pool halls and billard parlors of late, you’ll know what I mean. If you watch attentively, you’ll note that there is a clearly evident absence of that tell-tale solid red ball. You see cue balls galore, but no solid red ball. Also note that she is not putting english on the ball…it’s going directly into the hole, not really the idea. She makes a better senior cougar than a pool shark.

Alice in Wonderland for Kids?

What ever happened to Charles Dodgson’s wonderful children’s masterpieces,  written under the pseudonym (look it up, what am I, a walking dictionary???) Lewis Carroll — Alice’s Adventures Underground & What She Saw There, and Through the Looking Glass??? Continue reading

News, Breasts & Weather

I figure you’ve noticed the movement toward big-breasted nearly-naked and even entirely naked women newscasters, anchorpersons, weather girls and spokespersons in commercials, but have you taken note of the sudden increase in the cup-size of said breasts, and the alarmingly exponential levels of nudity of these ample newsgirls?

Just in case you hadn’t, I thought I’d Continue reading

All You Need is Dumb

If you’ve got a cell-phone, you’re a movie producer, and if you’re on youtube,
you’re a television network all your own. Everybody’s publishing themselves
online now, and it’s just a matter of how dumb it is, if you want the massive
millions of hits. Whether they stay on the video is another matter. All we can
measure is the interest, not the effect.

Here’s a young girl with a camera and a hand-held beat-box, and very little
else in the way of assets.
