What Secrets did the Ancients possess? Quite a few that have yet to be rediscovered, but people are always rediscovering things they have forgotten how to do, how to make and how to use.
CULTURAL AMNESIA happens every time a large and imposing empire collapses from its own massive weight. Cultural Amnesia is the result of a Dark Age, an age of darkness, when the advances of the previous civilization have worn off and are no longer part of daily life.
Was there an Atlantis?
Yes, of course there was, although “Atlantis” in the Platonic sense is a combination of at least three civilizations from the long-distant past, in human reckoning. I have items from about 30,000 B.C. and they show clearly that technology was very much a part of ancient life as far back as 100,000 B.C. when they flew airplanes and dropped hydrogen bombs on each other, just as they do today.
People before Homo Sap were pretty smart, too, and then there were a surviving race of lizard men, Sauroman, that were encountered infrequently by humanoids. Also on Earth are a new breed of robot that’s being tested by the Grey II researchers on Mount … oops, almost threw that one away, but I’m careful to not violate the Prime Directive. I can give hints, but not actual data.
What I mean is, “somewhere at some undisclosed location”, don’t I??? Yes, of course. Let’s start that over … Somewhere, at some undisclosed location, there’s a Grey II research lab that uses human enzymes for various purposes. Hybrids are easier to make than metals, plastics are organic science, and flesh is so damned vulnerable to accident and illness.
Robots are the dominant higher life form just about everywhere. It takes several thousand years of civilization past the warring states stage to develop anything like Distortion Bubble InterSpace and InterDimensional Travel, as have so many civilizations before and after humans.
So if there was an Atlantis, where was it?
The answer is stunningly simple — just about everywhere, all over the planet, on the coastlines and around water and sources of salt, as you’d expect of most animals, and humans are no exception. Salt and Water. That usually means somewhere along a river or seacoast or lake, all of which are now deep underwater.
In short, almost all human civilization clusters around a variety of types of waterhole.
Think about this inflexible rule under gravity: WATER SEEKS ITS OWN LEVEL.
That means that if the water level rises one place, it rises elsewhere, irrespective of or in addition to the lunar gravitational influence that causes tides.
So if a lot of polar icecap meltdown continues and accelerates as it has been doing the past few decades, the melted ice becomes water, and the water level throughout the world rises, see?
The Polar Ice Caps started melting down about 45,000 years ago, and they’ve been melting down ever since, and the process is accelerating rapidly as we approach another global flood, combined with the usual nuclear conflict and global annihilation — that’s how most civilizations end. They find a weapon of mass destruction and just can’t wait to use it, like a kid with a new set of toy soldiers.
You can be sure that at least a few of those new toy soldiers will be broken by tomorrow, and if you’re caught up in the maelstrom of daily organic life, you might just end up as one of those broken toy soldiers to satisfy someone’s personal need for glory and domination.
Peace on Earth? These are human beings. Only Domination can bring peace when intolerance and control are the primary means of Crowd Control. The Romans knew better — they could keep their population peaceful and happy with BREAD and CIRCUSES, meaning plentiful food, shelter, medicine and entertainment.
When the melted ice ran down into the ocean, the oceans became deeper, which meant that the waterline rose, the earlier seacoasts were submerged underwater, and the coastal cities moved inland, with the rising water, until they are as you see them now.
Almost all of the ancient world is currently under water. The seacoast was much larger then, and the oceans were a lot smaller. The Atlantic was once half what it is now, and under the water just about everywhere, you’ll find ancient cities and civilizations, with all of their artifacts and technology waiting to be rediscovered.
Literally millions of artifacts unknown to moderns sit at the bottom of the sea, waiting for the light of day. A hundred years ago, an ancient computer was discovered underwater. There are far more yet to be found.
Electric lights, cars, airplanes and more, all await discovery in the deep blue sea. The Triads were an important part of ancient life, from about 30,000 B.C. up to the present time.
The 3 Most Important Things in Life to the Ancients are the same three things that people today would wish for if they had the means, and everyone with money — a great deal of it — wish fervently for these three things that money cannot buy:
- COMFORT & SECURITY — Personal love, affection, home, a family in comfortable and stable relationships, roof over the head, plenty of money to do whatever one likes, lots of terrific fashionable clothing, a huge, fantastic castle, lots of servants, admiration from others.
- A CURE FOR BOREDOM — As soon as you can do anything you want to do, you might start doing it, but most folks only do one or two “dream things” before they tire of the game of going elsewhere, because the agony of travel outweighs the pleasure of seeing sights you’d generally try your best to avoid, in places that require you to sleep in a hotel — an experience about as pleasant as taking a bath in the rotunda of the State Capitol.
- IMMORTALITY — What’s the use of having billions of dollars if they won’t buy you a single second of life past your Death Date?
The Ancients had an answer for all three Important Things, to wit:
- COMFORT & SECURITY — The illusion of Comfort & Security is a temporary condition. There will be times of trial and tribulation in which you will have to endure discomfort and insecurity. Learn to live without Comfort and Security.
- BOREDOM — Anything, no matter how exciting at first blush, gets boring, given enough time. Absolutely everything and anything can become boring, and that’s a fact that most people never consider and if they did, they wouldn’t believe it. The only cure for Boredom is to handle boredom inside yourself. It will never be handled from outside. Boredom is a direct result of Hunger, the progenitor of the Hungry Ghost World, where restlessness and despair abound. Look within for a cure.
- IMMORTALITY — This is like trying to not Be Here Now. There’s no way you can lose your immortality. You are already immortal, but the real question is, what are you going to do about it? Of course the body is not immortal, even the million year old robot army that’s headed your way is immortal except relatively speaking. Real immortality is your waveform — that’s what lasts beyond forever, and is reborn in new universes. The only question is, what are you going to do with your immortality? Squander it in a never-ending chase in pursuit of pleasure and avoidance of pain? Or use it wisely, to learn and transmit knowledge, understanding and the essence of wisdom?
The Ancients used the TRIAD® for so many things, but those three items listed above were far and away the most important to them. The 3 Most Important Uses of the Triad in ancient times were:
- HEALING — Definitely the most popular use of the Triad was in healing. It was used in much the same way that you would use a Power Gem, by passing it over the body, locating “Cold Spots” and warming them with the focusing device.
- CONTACT — Getting in contact with Higher Spheres, in short, going up the scales of dimensions to higher realms and higher states of Being, looking for connection and melding with the Higher Consciousness that is called “God”.
- PREDICTION — Even if it’s just the weather, everyone wants to know what the future will bring.
- LONGEVITY — What use is long life if you don’t have your health? Longevity was then considered part and parcel with health and prosperity.
- PROSPERITY — And speaking of prosperity, of what use is long life if you have to live it on the streets?
- LOVE — The Triad attracts goodness to your life, and Love and Affection and Partnership are an important part of the human experience.
- DIET — Using a Triad requires that you maintain a strict Shamanic Diet if you want things to go magically right. The Ancients did not stray from this path.
- SEX — Of what use is longevity without sex? Sex is a source of very high power, and sexual energies can be used as magical connectors, although there are cheaper and easier ways to accomplish this, using the Triad and SuperBeacon in combination, which produces the exact same energies without sex — in ancient times, hangups about sex just weren’t there, so sex was more open and much more casual even than it is today. Better sex can be had by using a Domed Triad.
- KNOWLEDGE — Again, using a Domed Triad, it is possible to Astral Download just about any knowledge you care to obtain. I have a Domed Triad sitting on my desk just to the left of my keyboard. It is a direct beam to the Origin of Thought, and provides a nonstop source of Inspirational Energies.
- HAPPINESS — Generating happiness is an art and a skill. In your life, you have met a few people who just make others feel good merely by being around them. You yourself could be a SOURCE OF HAPPINESS by wearing a Triad or carrying one with you, as did the Ancients thousands of years ago.
There were more uses to which the Ancients put the Triad, and we’ll be exploring those uses as we work with these ideas during our spring ICW Workshops, along with our use of gaming to gain personal experience of other dimensions and other lifetimes, other realities and civilizations, under the farthest reaches of alien skies.
How do you use a Triad?
You already know how. All you need do is re-awaken that knowledge. You can use my PLS Course for that purpose. When you tickle the Atlantean Sequences, you’ll suddenly acquire all the knowledge necessary to use the Triad and in the meantime, you can depend on instinct, which is a boildown of all your organic memory plus your spirit memory, available through your motor-instinctive centrum, of course. The specific Trigger is “MEM FA MEM”, and I’d use a sterling silver & cobalt blue glass Triad.
Cobalt blue glass was made by the Phoenicians, the Hellenic Greeks, the Persians of Gilan Province and the Romans throughout their cultural existence, from about 200 B.C. up into the sixth century A.D. and the Dutch made similar beads around 1650 A.D. for export to Africa, which is how they became known as “African Beads”, but they’re not.
The very best Triads are actually ancient ones, with fully surviving metal, and this is rare. Most Triads were copper or bronze, and that means oxidation. The few surviving ancient Triads I have in my Triad Museum Collection are horrifically encrusted and barely recognizable.
The very best USABLE Triads are reconstructed with new metal, which can be pure copper, .935 Sterling Silver or solid .999 Fine “24k” Gold. The gold Triads tend to be expensive, and most folks settled for copper, which in my opinion is just as good or better from a magical standpoint.
Triads made with modern beads include every bead known to exist, and are most successful when made with Steve Sax’s EMO beads which change color with your mood. Emotional state changes are tracked by the EMO bead, and when Higher Emotions are successfully invoked, the beads will turn a stunning shade of blue or bluish green.
The most powerful Triads I have made are created with Phoenician or Persian Eye Beads, which are wound-glass coreless glass implanted with dark blue “seed” pupils all around the bead, to mimic and invoke the Eyes of God, all-seeing in every direction at once.
I hate that. When I look at something, I expect to be able to tune out the other junk surrounding the item in which I’m interested. In short, I need a focusing device, that cuts out the distractions with no fuss, no muss, no bother.
In my Domed Desk Triad I have woven ancient ELECTRUM spacer beads. Electrum is a naturally-occurring amalgam of gold and silver, and was very prized by the ancients, and with little wonder — they are magically delicious.
The metal coils and connecting bars are made of solid 24k gold, and the mounting rod is made of copper. The base is made of Vermillion, but it could just as easily be Coca-Bola or Lignum Vita, if you’ve got the bucks to throw around or the shamanic interest to overlook the cost.
The whole thing rests in a glass dome on a hardwood base, with four felt pads underneath to protect my beautiful 1953 handmade desk which once served as the editorial desk for Galaxy SF Magazine back in the day.
