We don’t have a fully complete Sumerian dictionary or grammar — but we do have thousands of cuneiform tablets, many religious in nature, with known vocab and structure.
The language is agglutinative (meaning lots of suffixes), poetic, and deeply symbolic.
We can aim for sound, style, and intent, if not strict word-for-word translation.
