I work to invoice; always have, always will. What that translates to is that I work for obvious necessity. I’ll further clarify that point so you can see how it affects you personally right now, today, this very minute: The more requests for an Orb, the more likely it is that I’ll make it. Your vote could definitely influence the outcome.
Conversely, the fewer people seem interested in an Orb, it’s far less likely that I’ll ever get to it. My workbench is crammed with “gottas”, meaning that I could work nonstop 24 hours a day for 25 years and never get it done, even at my blitzing fast pace.
I study the download numbers each week and, although we’ve only produced Prosperity Path downloads now for a grand total of two months most of which was “get-ready” time where we tested the download system and our loaders, installers and so forth. Now we’re in full swing, and we’re releasing a level about every two days.
There’s been a little delay of one week while Dick (VAL) worked to make the appearance and vanishment look really right, and we’ve got the overhead ceiling collision issue resolved. Also in the new engine are new ways of handling interactions. These are being improved with every release, and you’re enjoying the benefits.
We need more models, and they’re generally expensive, about $10,000 each for the low-poly type of super-clean super-fast response models we use; we have a group of model-makers who know our requirements and can make them for around $3,000 each, still a bit high when you’re looking at 45 models just for the Oracle Orbs, and another 37 for the projected Coaching Orbs which I’ll be addressing this week.
The Orbs are actually mostly ready for Prime Time — they’re built and sturdily made, but they lack all the dressing and operators to make them work. If they’re to do the intended job, they need finish-work and, as any carpenter can tell you, therein lies the rub. (French polish joke for the wood-butchers in the crowd.)
My point about how I work is that if you want to see a steady stream of work-Orbs coming out of my atelier, you’ll need to get the statistics up so I can clearly see the necessity for Orbs to be released.
At the moment, the flow is steady and the demand is strong, because you’re actively telling people about Prosperity Path! Don’t stop, just because things are going well. That’s a human trait you need to learn to do without.
