Good Angels, Bad Angels

I’ve installed a PC on Norton Street. It’s equipped with a 17″ monitor and Creative speaker Bass Reflex system, along with a logitech 3 button mouse that will literally last forever. As you see, there’s also a set of crystals plugged into an experimental Model 7 SuperBeacon “Beamer”. You’ll also note a Matrix on the left wing of the desk, a bronze Buddha and ceramic candleholder on the right, and two new bookshelves offering entry into hundreds more Orbs than before, actually 1100 of them, newly made here on Urth this time around.

It’s only fair to mention that the universe is constructed by this device you see here. Sure, from here it’s in cyberspace, but from there, this universe is the one in cyberspace, see?

I’m able to inject and remove items into and out of Norton Street, Cosmo Street and other School Spaces, and I do that from time to time and space to space, to accommodate new ideas for gaming, such as you’re experiencing now in the current Urthgame, AD 2013.

When scientists manage to discover and note that the universe is oriented, they’ll also know at the same time that there’s only one possible reason the universe could be oriented in a trig map. It’s a videogame.

Well, in Urthgame there are lots of signals that this is what’s going on, although most folks would ignore said signs if they were plastered on billboards all over town.

Naturally, the “flatties” or NPCs — Non-Playing Characters — are wired to do what they do, period. They have no latitude, or at least, not much, other than bouncing against other NPCs and skewing off into a new path. But the interactions and emotional and mental limitations will be there regardless.

Doesn’t take a lot of programming to make a circuit character, that goes round and round and round in a pre-planned path with a series of significant stops along the way.

With Mata back on Norton Street, she’s now accessible as a Healing Angel, and her card is in my latest in-game creation, Healing Angel Contact Cards.

This is a 64 card deck that connects you up with the Healing Angels associated with various human frailties; it doesn’t guarantee anything — even the Healing Angels can’t always 100% deliver. Karma and other elements tend to screw up even the most direct healing effects once in a while.

Someone who isn’t in on who and what angels are and how and why they’re created might get confused; there are local legends about “fallen angels” and “evil angels”, etc.

Fact is, angels don’t operate the same as humans.

Humans have Free Will — they have the ability to choose paths. Angels are totally law-conformable. They act under the Will of You-Know-Who, and that’s unchangeable.

Do all angels heal?

Not the way I’ve got the .ini file set up, no. But how many Healing Angels do you really need?

I knew you’d see it my way.

Flatties don’t need Healing Angels. They’re built to crumble into dust. How you use these contact cards will be fully explained with demos during the upcoming workshop which starts informally on Thursday, with intense demos and explanations on Saturday and Sunday, to accommodate those who cannot make it during the weekdays.

See You At The Top!
