Lorca, GullFoyle, Capizz, Molly Midway — Your Malibu Beach Home is Here!!!

malibu

I’ve put up Malibu Beach Homes for Lorca, GullFoyle, Capizz and Molly Midway; they’re not yet completely finished, but they do each have your brand-new XxaxX-made plasma tanks, the latest model. I’ll get around to putting in some decor as I’m able. I’m posting my hourly stuff on twitter, and was just in time to put up a notice that we were in the middle of a crashing thunderstorm (thanks for the rain-dances) which begins the fall season in this New Reality. You can tell whose house is whose by clicking on it and reading the name. If you want a name box in front, we can arrange it.

I’ll have furniture in there as soon as I can, so you can have your Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner in your new home on the beach.

Yep, the year is almost gone. Halloween wind whistles around the corner. Full moon the other night, howling, hairy all over, can’t pronounce my “w”, as in w-w-w-o-o-o …. w-w-w-w-w-o-o… w-w-w-w-w-woooooooooooolllllllll.

And in at least one of my Tibetan incarnations, I have a hell of a time pronouncing my “j”s.

I’m not at all tempted to try facebook. I’m inclined to go where Tiffany goes on the subject — no facebook at all. But we’re a business and we need to survive and expand and grow and also get bigger, and the way to do that these days is through facebook, period.

If you know the ropes, you can get out there.

I do NOT know the ropes. I’m depending on you to spread any word that needs spreading. I’m a writer by trade — at least that’s one of my many trades — and it’s easy for me to pound out 18,000-30,000 words at a single sitting. That’s what I did for 25 cents a word back in the 1960s, and a dollar a word for Omni Magazine.

Do the Math. It pays well if you write good, like a writer should.

Now I get paid nothing for writing from the heart. That’s okay by me, I have nothing better to do with my time than make dark gray marks on a somewhat grayish-white flatscreen.

It’s a living, even if you don’t make a penny at it.

How do I make it pay? I thought you’d never ask. I make it up in volume. Have you ever gotten the feeling that you were a pair of brown shoes in a black-tie universe?

There’s a cure for that. There’s also a cure for ignorance, but there is no cure for stupid.

According to my calculations, I will never catch up with the present technology. I can program a powerful game level, but can’t read or answer e-mail. I’m easily able to figure out a wiring diagram, yet I can’t read a simple facebook page.

And it’s not just me. All the folks around me are experiencing the fact that they can’t easily operate an “ordinary” phone. I can’t manage the swiping at all, and I’m not about to take a remedial course or thumb-therapy to make that thing happen.

In order for me to seriously consider dedicating many hours of time and energy to a thing, I have to be convinced — just as you would be — that the thing is worth anything to me or someone or something, not just pouring water down a drain.

I can’t see any real benefit to a business just because they’re using facebook. Of course, you can’t not be on it and do business; it’s considered far better than a website, by the idiots that rule the world.

Not my problem, I just vacation here, I don’t have to live here all the time.

Facebook is a serious invasion of privacy, and that’s what people like about it. I think I’d like to have my facebook pages represent simple events and offerings, and leave it at that. On the other hand, it is imperative that as many folks as possible find out how to post segments of my blogs with graphics so that their friends can see my blogs, too.

That’s what is going to make it all work. Your participation.

Folks on a team often don’t appreciate how MUCH their effort is worth. Every single tiny bit of effort adds to the general whole, and it adds up fast, when the team is large.

Part of your job is to enlarge our circle, and how you can do that is by liking and sharing my blogs. That’s the single most important action you can take outside the Ashram.

If you have ANY questions about how to do this, contact SpaceHoodoo immediately and ask how you can implement this action. It is vital that everyone who can participate take action, and the sooner, the better the result will be.

I’m heading to the stage area now; if you’re tuned in and things go well, and the storm doesn’t cut the power again — it did do that at lunchtime — we’ll have a really fun music time with all the band except Iven, who is still in Portland at the Float Conference, which was a total sell-out, not a single book left in his car!!! Good Job, Iven!!!

One more hot news item from my desk — I’m working on a movements scrapbook and a movements workbook, and will have them ready for Christmas time. I’ll be using photos from the upcoming workshop at the Labor Day Convention.

And another hot piece of publishing news; I am SO excited to hear that SpaceHoodoo will be writing a book for Iven, all about my amulets, and they’ll be writing it TOGETHER! What a writing team that will be!!! I can hardly wait to see the result and I know that book will be a BEST SELLER!!!

Okay, enough chit-chat, gotta run, prepare the stage. Naturally, in-World will be the same as usual. Perm Rezzes might want to check out the video channel as well as the usual in the usual place.

Stay hydrated.

See You At The Top!!!
